You remind me that I owned and enjoyed Live After Death once upon a time. Yep, I think it’s great that they’re still doing their thing and are still a big act. I want to say 1985 and prior was all great, the last album being that of "Live After Death". Even their live stuff went down hill from there, however you have to admire a band that has been together for 30 years (ouch I'm getting old!) and is still making hands bang. It's good to hear from you. I have a feeling I'm doing myself a disservice by not listening to and appreciating their later stuff more, but I guess some things are tied to where you are in life. I still enjoy much of the heavy stuff I listened to in my younger years, but I'm not a hot-blooded teenager anymore and tend to get in to "lighter" fare now. I'm embracing my oldness. :-) Hey, Presto! It’s good to hear from you.

It was great fun. They also came and did an autograph party at a club I worked at at the time. They were great fun to work with. I was, and still am, a fan. My first exposure to Maiden was Killers, so I'd say that one's my favorite. I did a show with Iron Maiden during their Piece of Mind tour. It was great fun.
