		<description>Hi, Hoàng.  It&#039;s not that Google Notes being non-free is a huge problem for me, although it might be true that notes are a core &quot;computing&quot; function that I&#039;d rather &quot;own&quot; the software for.

I prefer a local application for privacy and better functionality.  I really like the simplicity of Tomboy.  It&#039;s designed very well for how I like to take notes.  Maybe I&#039;ll end up using it and work on a Java version with the features I want to use.

(Thanks for the pointer to Plasma.  It&#039;s hard to tell from that page what the application is supposed to be.)</description>
