From the same Aspen family featured in Autumn in Northern Minnesota and More Minnesota Aspens in Fall.
My wife thinks I take too many pictures of these trees.

Aspens in Fall. Those are beautiful trees. Somehow, though, seeing that first picture with the beginnings of yellow, catches my heart, a bit, with a feeling of concern for time passing swiftly. Well, it appears summer is passing, huh?

Thanks, Amy. Time feels like it’s racing by faster all the time. I often imagine that I’ll look back and wish I would have worried less and relaxed more. But there are times when that happens, like sitting next to a campfire a couple of nights ago in this spot, and I can let it wash away for a while.
