Photopost: Minnesota Aspens in Summer

From the same Aspen family featured in Autumn in Northern Minnesota and More Minnesota Aspens in Fall.

My wife thinks I take too many pictures of these trees.

Previous free aspen pictures were taken with a 2 mega-pixel Olympus D-520 camera. Now you’re getting shots from a 6 mega-pixel Canon SD600. Still taken with the same shaky hand.

  1. Aspens in Fall. Those are beautiful trees. Somehow, though, seeing that first picture with the beginnings of yellow, catches my heart, a bit, with a feeling of concern for time passing swiftly. Well, it appears summer is passing, huh?

  2. Thanks, Amy. Time feels like it’s racing by faster all the time. I often imagine that I’ll look back and wish I would have worried less and relaxed more. But there are times when that happens, like sitting next to a campfire a couple of nights ago in this spot, and I can let it wash away for a while.
